Wednesday 25th of August

Today is a big day for the Sounders, its their first game in international competition. We play Monterrey at Sounder Stadium tonight at 7:00pm. A Win at home would go a long way in the group stages!! On a side note the Sounders haven't shared any info with it's fans about the 3rd friendly game but Chivas de Guadlaharaja announced on it's web site they will be playing the Sounders on October 12th in Seattle!

MLS Save of the Week nominees

Bob is trying to talk himself into a job over in England, two factors are against him that are holding up his opportunity. 1 is he is American (No matter what a European says about how good we are at soccer, they don't think we can coach or play) the second strike is the fact that there has never been an American coach in Europe! I personally hope they give him a chance!!

Reporters love to be in the center of the Action!!!!

MLS is doing things right in growing the league, bringing in players and improving the quality of play on the field. Frugal will win out over throwing cash out like years past!!

Real Madrid 2-0 PeƱarol Trofeo Santiago Bernabeu

One thing about playing in Europe that is hard to understand is the transfer window and tryout process. Two Americans that actually played in the World Cup are finding out just how hard it is to get a new contract!.

Bike ride of the Week

The Second week of soccer in Europe is over and as always I like to look at how the Americans played or in some cases DNP (did not play) plus it is always nice to hear about a new guy given an opportunity!

Manchester United vs. Manchester City highlights

Come December there will be an announcement from FIFA about who will host the 2018 & 2022 World Cups, Russia and USA applied to host along with other countries. According to this article the USA should become quick fans of Russia!

Viva is Back!

A new show, a cancelled show, a new fresh face, and it's all American? Will we watch and turn it into something that will grow?

Game day in the UK!

Barcelona is an exceptional team as we all know, Messi, Puyol, Iniesta, Villa, Xavi, and the list goes on. No wonder Spain has won the Euro and World Championships recently!!
