It was a good weekend if you were a Sounders fan. Seattle played the Columbus Crew in Columbus on "Dollar Beer Night" I think at the end of the game most of the dollar beers were used by the home town fans to drown their sorrows! The Sounders put on a show of class, skill, and goals, the Blaise Nkufo draught ended in a serious way with Nkufo recording the Sounders first ever hat trick in the MLS, Keller made the brilliant saves when he had to and Sturgis tucked away the Sounders first PK!
4 years ago after we had a disappointing World Cup the USA talked extensively with Jurgen Klinsmann and what it came down to was control, after this years World Cup the USA again had talks with "Jurgen the German" and again Control was the ultimate show stopper!

Toronto has been having some serious problems on and off the field, firing their coach and GM, going through players all season that don't seem to work, but they still have a chance!
San Jose Earthquakes vs. Philadelphia Union Highlights (1-0)
Houston has all but given up for the season and it's coming from the top, you gotta wonder when they traded away one of their better center midfielders they already knew it was over!
NY Redbulls vs. Dallas FC highlights (2-2)
Real Salt Lake's win at home put the record at 23 home games undefeated, it's an MLS record and shows that last year wasn't a fluke winning the MLS Cup.

We traded our first ever designated player to Chicago earlier this summer, since then Seattle has played well and Chicago not so well. Seattle plays in Chicago this coming Saturday and a win will go a long way in getting us into the playoffs, at the same time Chicago are fighting for their playoff lives!
