The Champions league wrapped up the first round of the group stage yesterday, there was a lot of goals and nice play all around and the big teams flexed their muscles! All the goals and highlights are below.

Before I get started with all of the highlights I wanted to put up this great video of the USMNT run at the World Cup over the Summer, it brings back all the emotion of the Summer!


The playoff race is heating up and teams are positioning themselves for a long run at the cup, the Redbulls are starting to realize that 3 DP's don't make a team!

In Europe kids young as 10 sign for a club, they attend the clubs schools and play soccer everyday after school with the clubs coaches and the club pays for all of it! In America we pay the club if our kid is good enough and coaches make a living off of families, in Dallas they are starting to see the potential of the European way!

The USA has alot going for it as far as the possibilities of hosting the World Cup in 2018/2022 but Qatar has the money and ideas that could really sway a hosting committee!
