Tuesday 23rd of November

Today is the expansion draft for the MLS and the Sounders may loose a few players, that said the Sounders gained 2 new players but unfortunately had to off load one of their mainstay players! Here are the 11 protected Sounders for Wednesday's draft, what is your thoughts of the players protected/unprotected? Ianni, Nyassi, and Nkufo are the unprotected names that pop to the front of the list.

Goals of the Week

Here is the complete list of all the unprotected players available in the expansion draft tomorrow, you could really put together a decent team with some of these players.

Assists of the Week

Tuesday and Wednesday is Champions League group play in Europe and with a win and some help many teams can advance to the next round.

Napoli vs. Bologna (Serie A) 4-1

Pablo Mastroeni has played in a World Cup and has 13 years in the MLS. He finally won a Championship this year and he may ride into the sunset a champion and call it a day on his career.

Rangers vs. Kilmarnock (SPL)3-2 Hattrik for Miller

In the Expansion Draft tomorrow the Portland Timbers are hoping to find 5 starters for their team. There are some really good players available and it's going to be interesting who Portland and Vancouver take!

Chievo vs. Inter Milan (Serie A) 2-1

Former Boston University player is now the Assistant Coach of Chelsea in the EPL!

Bike Ride of the Weekend

Just when you have heard it all in the World of Soccer? You read something like this and think?

AC Milan vs. Fiorentina (Serie A) 1-0

Something you don't see to often, a US National Team player signing a contract to play in Mexico, but that is exactly what Johnathan Borstein did and he is on his way this weekend to give it a go!

Eto'o is banned for pulling a Zidane!

I have to say after watching the incident on video the dude who took the butt to the chest does an excellent acting job, but so did Eto'o when he took the smack that started the whole thing.

Juve vs. Genoa (Serie A) 2-0

Imagine being a Rookie player and getting a call up to play for the USA against South Africa, starting and playing well and your teammate scoring the winning goal then meeting Nelson Mandela all in a weekend?

Mainz vs. Monchengladbach (Bundesliga) 3-2

The players that the Sounders did protect is a good sign on how the team wants to keep a strong nucleus together. Here is a look at one of the players we received in the Vagenas trade.

Roma vs. Udinese (Serie A) 2-0

The U20 USMNT has acquired a player of German Origin who has previously played for the German National Team, this could be really good news for the USA!!

Hoffenheim vs. Eintract Frankfurt (Bundesliga) 4-0

One guy breaks down tomorrows draft and he sees Nyassi leaving the Sounders on Wednesday.

Sampadoria vs. Lecce (Serie A) 3-2

He is none as the "The Giant of Milan" and from the sounds of it he could be on his way to wearing a pink uniform for Palermo in Serie A!

Schalke 04 vs. Weder Bremen (Bundesliga) 4-0

ESPN has come down hard on the MLS and some of the changes that were announced over the weekend at the MLS Cup, I might tend to agree with them!!

Palermo vs. Cesena (Serie A) 2-1

They are calling it the closest title race in years over in England, but as everyone knows the holiday season (4 or 5 games in 14 days over X-mas and New Years) really separates the winners from the losers!

Lyon vs. Lens (Ligue 1) 3-1

In Brazil things are always Beautiful, the Game, the Women, the Beach, but now there is something ugly that has caused a big soap opera in the land of beauty!

Cagliari vs. Brescia (Serie A) 2-1

Big Article in todays LA Times asks the question, "What does the Galaxy need for next year" and the question is answered by all the players but then the man "Cobi Jones" breaks it down to a science!

Bordeaux vs. Arles-Avignon (Ligue 1) 4-2

One thing they love to do in England is make their "Top 10 Lists" lets take a look at "The Top 10 Worst Signings of the Season" so far that is, I always like to give a guy the benefit of the doubt for at least one season.

Parma vs. Lazio (Serie A) 1-1

Funny how articles are already coming out stating who has won the right to host the 2018 and 2022 World Cups? Do you think there is vote fixing?

Fenerbache vs. Buraspor (Turkey Super League) 5-2

It has gone on since the game was invented, someone will always try to squeeze every advantage they can out of the game. Love it or hate it "Gamesmanship is part of the game"

Catania vs. Bari (Serie A) 1-0
