Those of you in the know will recognize the Claudio Lopez from Goal #2 he is a current 2010 MLS Cup Champion with the Colorado Rapids.
Bike Ride of the Week
He came, he saw, he complained an awful lot! Freddie Ljunberg is looking at his options and his offers. I am not sure I would spend my money on the guy but who know?
FC Twente vs. Tottenham (UCL) 3-3
Here are the "Top 10 Goals of the Week" each one is numbered, goals 1,6 & 7 are pure individual skill, goal 8 reminds me of Gheorghe Hagi's goal from the 94 World Cup!!
Manchester United vs. Valencia (UCL) 1-1
Wikileaks has been a revelation to the public with all the government news and notes it has been able to get it's hands on and make public. One of the revelations was that the military leader of Myanmar was going to make a $1 Billion dollar offer for Manchester United?

Despite losing out on the 2022 World Cup the USA will continue to grow in Soccer, our academy systems is starting produce. If the professional level can develop a system of promotion/relegation we will only see more meaningful growth in the future!

Weder Bremen vs. Inter Milan (UCL) 3-0
If your a Sounders fan a name you will need to remember is Sean Okoli, he is a home grown talent and currently plays for the U18 Sounders Academy team, he also now plays for the USA U18 National Team. With the MLS rosters going from 24 to 30 and a reserve league being played next season I would put my money on seeing Okoli signed to a contract soon.
FC Copenhagen vs. Panathinaikos (UCL) 3-1
The Luck of the Irish may be coming to a stadium near you, it would be a good signing for Vancouver (Similar to Ljunberg for Seattle in their first year)
Bursapor vs. Rangers (UCL) 1-1

Champions League Blooper of the Day
As a soccer fan I love to watch as many games as I can (ask my fiance' she probably has seen enough) I also love to hang out at the bar/pub with my friends and watch a game. In Australia they are trying to bring the game to the patrons in their pubs.
Skill Show Volume 31
Steve Zakuani, Blaise Nkufo, and John Kennedy Hurtado all have something in common. They love the color green, not in the sense of Green Backs but more in the sense of Green Card. All 3 are now have permanent resident status in the USA.
Old School Goal of the Week
Starting today all eyes will be on Dhubai and not necessarily for the Club World Cup, a lot of comparsion will be done since Qatar has been awarded the World Cup. Leaflets have been passed out to fans as they arrive explaining customs & traditions and warning of arrest if in violation.
AL Wahda vs. Hekari United (Club World Cup) 3-0
The guy never played professional soccer, in fact he was a shoe salesman. Lacking the qualities needed to play the game Arrigo Sacci knew he could manage the game and at 26 took over his local team, from that point on success was destined. Sacci chose to embrace the team unit sense of the game instead of the individual player, he always let his coaching do the talking as was witnessed in the European Final in 1989 where AC Milan won 4-0 against Steau Beaucarest. He later coached the Italian national team to a runner up spot in the 1994 World Cup in the USA. an astute eye will notice current coach of Chelsea was one of Sacci's stars on his AC Milan team of the 80's/90's.
Liverpool vs. Aston Villa (EPL) 3-0
