Seattle Sounders will be coming home from Arizona on Saturday and turn around and leave for Florida a few days later, some cuts will be made and Sigi likes it that way.
Chivas USA hired a new coach and is looking to turn the team around, they just signed two world cup veterans to contracts.
DC United is looking to changer their fortunes this year and have a better finish than they did last year (Last place in the MLS) but now without 2 keepers and a goalscorer it could be difficult.
The 2012 Summer Olympics will be held in London, it will also be the first time they put a unified UK soccer team together. The stadium they will play in looks to belong to West Ham United.
Showboating Time
Money makes the world go round and in the world of soccer it is no different, 2 teams from Spain lead the money list but 4 teams from England are in the top 10.
Denmark 1 – England 2 (International friendly, February 9, 2011)
One American has a big game this weekend, "That's what's so fantastic about these derby games. Everything goes out the window and it's just two great rivals toe to toe with all the heated emotions... all of that goes into making these games special."
Holland 3 – Austria 1 (International friendly, February 9, 2011)
It was a very busy international week and the players go back to their club teams for some very important games this weekend, but what are the "10 things we learned from the International Games"
Argentina 2 - Portugal 1 (International friendly, February 9, 2011)
I don't think I have played in a game that I haven't questioned a ref's decision (I may at times keep it to myself and I may voice my opinion during the game) In a game in Italy one guy questioned things a bit to much.
Germany 1 – Italy 1 (International Friendly, February 9, 2011)
We are 4 weeks away from the MLS First Kick, with that said lets look back at a player who was a dynamo and a "One Hit Wonder" when it came to goals!
Croatia 4 – Czech Republic 2 (International friendly, February 9, 2011)
This upcoming weekend is a big one for the NASL as it seeks to earn sanctioning from the US Soccer Federation to operate as the nation’s second division. And there is no back-up plan in case it’s not granted
Mexico 2 – Bosnia-Herzegovina 0 (International Friendly, February 9, 2011)
In one of the best show's of Sportsmanship one highschool team allows a players dream to come true.
Spain 1 – Colombia 0 (International friendly, February 9, 2011)
The USA's future is looking bright with some up and coming talented attacking players who possess the skill, speed, and creativity to help the USA to the next level!
Scotland 3 – Northern Ireland 0 (Carling Nations Cup, February 9, 2011)
One American who has quietly put together a very nice run of form in Europe is Maurice Edu for Rangers in the Scottish Primere League.
France 1 – Brazil 0 (International friendly, February 9, 2011)
It's a time honored tradition in Soccer selling space on the Jersey to advertisers, but would that work for the other sports in the USA? Would you like to see it?
