In Wednesday's game with Colorado Steve Zakuani and Brad Evans were both injured, this is not good news for Sounders fans and our depth will surely be tested sooner rather than later.

Goals of the Week
This season more than any other it seems we have foreign players entering into the MLS and a few Americans who have never played stateside. Here is a look at 5 players to watch this year in the MLS.
Braga 1 – Liverpool 0 (Europa League last 16 first-leg, March 10, 2011)
They probably didn't have the money and yes it probably was a joke (or a drunken thought) but for a team from a village of 400 people in the country side of France, buying Messi was never gonna happen.
Dynamo Kiev 2 – Manchester City 0 (Europa League last 16 first leg, March 10, 2011)
Just to clarify how things went down, your player is red carded, your team loses, you as coach exhibit poor sportsmanship, and yet UEFA is a "Dictatorship" and should apologize. I agree with Wegner about the red card but when it comes to UEFA and complaints, they only fall on deaf ears and he will most assuredly only be punished!

The amount of Americans playing abroad has swelled and that is a good thing, but the actual numbers of Americans starting and playing is a small percentage. Lets vote for the American we think is having the best season abroad so far? Then lets look at how a young American can pursue a job in the professional ranks.
FC Twente 3 – Zenit St Petersburg 0 (Europa League last 16 first leg, March 10, 2011)
They call it the beautiful game and when it is played by Barcelona it is beautiful to watch. In Newcastle the team doesn't play the most attractive game, it's most direct long balls but the fans have a passion in Newcastle that can't be matched by any club and it is lead by a Geordie named Kevin "Beefy" Roberts, I just wouldn't call it beautiful!
Bayer Leverkusen 2 – Villarreal 3 (Europa League last 16 first-leg, March 10, 2011)
It started with the Sounders trying out an ex-basketball play by play guy in Kevin Callabero, they ultimately found their man in Arlo White. Now Kansas City and Portland have followed their lead bringing in English talent for play by play work.
CSKA Moscow 0 – FC Porto 1 (Europa League last 16 first-leg, March 10, 2011
European football is now one of the highlights of the season’s calendar for both players and fans alike, as supporters get to visit some of the greatest stadiums in world football, while watching the best players grace the turf.
PSV 0 – Rangers 0 (Europa League last 16 first leg, March 10, 2011)
5 Years ago Juventus was relegated to Serie B for it's part in "Calciopoli" which was a very big scandel in the Italian world of soccer. Juventus was one of the teams punished after having just won the league, they were stripped of that dropped to Serie B, removed from the Champions League, fined $5 Million, and started the season with -9 points. Needless to say they were back in Serie A the next year, and the 5 players who stayed and helped the team are forever remembered.
Ajax 0 – Spartak Moscow 1 (Europa League last 16 first leg, March 10, 2011)
One man's idea is how all great things are created. This idea is light years ahead of anything like it and infact it's genius! It's all about Soccer in America but it also speaks to American's other love and passion BEER! My friends say all the time, beer can solve any problem!!
Benfica 2 – PSG 1 (Europa League last 16 first leg, March 10, 2011)
