He started in Toronto was sent to New York and ended up in DC but that didn't deter his play and today Dwayne De Rosario was named MLS MVP for 2011!

He is the figurehead for all of world soccer and he also loves to put his foot in his mouth!! Becks thinks he should go, and so do a lot others!

It was leaked a little while ago, today the Sounders announced their new 3rd Jersey.

Next week the Sounders will probably lose a player in the expansion draft (they have to much depth) here is a guess as to whom they will protect.

Live soccer on TV this weekend!

Goals of the Week

Roma's new American owner revealed ambitious plans to make the team known the world over through new marketing techniques.

Red Card of the Week

When it comes to the US men’s national team’s defense, there is some sense of security in having veterans Steve Cherundolo, Carlos Bocanegra and Oguchi Onyewu around to play key roles in Jurgen Klinsmann’s plans for the upcoming year.

Brisbane Roar 1 – Wellington Phoenix 1 (A-League, November 13, 2011)

Long before becoming arguably the best manager in Major League Soccer history, before becoming the assistant coach of the San Jose Earthquakes and winning the 2001 and 2003 MLS Cups, before taking over as head coach in 2004, before moving with the club to Houston to become the Dynamo in 2005, before winning the 2006 and 2007 MLS Cups, before winning his 100th MLS regular-season game by the age of 44 -- five years younger than any of the four men who have won more -- before making his fourth conference final and third MLS Cup final in six years this season, Dominic Kinnear had doubts.

Libertad 1 – LDU de Quito 0* (Agg. 1-1) (Copa Sudamericana quarter-finals second-leg, November 17, 2011)

Carlos Tevez's decision to return to Argentina without permission has ended any hope of the striker playing for Manchester City again, manager Roberto Mancini says.

Univ de Chile 3 – Arsenal 0 (5-1) (Copa Sudamericana quarter-finals second-leg, November 17, 2011)

Beckham’s five years in California might be coming to a close, with his contract up at the end of the season. The Galaxy takes on the Houston Dynamo in the MLS Cup final on Sunday with the chance to win its first title of the Beckham era.

Velez Sarsfield 3 – Santa Fe 2 (Agg. 4-3) (Copa Sudamericana, November 10, 2011)

One would think that footballers wouldn't have to resort to picking up ladies through Twitter given how many willing young women are standing right in front of them at any moment, but Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, there were a couple of problems with his plan

Vasco da Gama 5 – Universitario 2 (Agg. 5-4) (Copa Sudamericana, November 9, 2011)

The US victory over Slovenia on Tuesday can easily be viewed as a breakthrough in Jurgen Klinsmann's cultural revolution. If for no other reason than the simple fact that both strikers scored, the result is a noteworthy one indicating progress in the senior team. Furthermore, the US shifted into a more conventional 4-4-2, visibly adding a degree of comfort to a team that had look baffled at times in its transition under Klinsmann. If the Slovenia game is anything to go by, Klinsmann's footballing reforms are starting to have a substantial effect on the squad's performance.

Santos 1 – Atletico-GO 1 (Campeonato Brasileiro, November 17, 2011)

The only way to get FIFA president Sepp Blatter to resign after his controversial comments about racism is if every black player boycotts the next round of international matches, Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock said on Friday.

Atletico-MG 2 – Coritiba 1 (Campeonato Brasileiro, November 17, 2011)
