Back in the day a hard tackle in soccer or going over the top of the ball to get a little piece was pretty normal business and part of the game that was accepted. They were not malious nor were they done with intent. I watched the USA's game Wednesday and saw a foul which got me a bit fired up, because it caused the USA to lose one of it's players. The tackle was late and done with intent yet the ref only gives a kick no card, the same foul 4 days earlier in England resulted in a RED CARD, my point here is this. The speed and spirit of the game has changed so much that the ref's can't keep up and it's time to have more eyes or Video playback in soccer to help clamp down on this kind of play.

Gee did we see this coming? Lock someone up for years without due process and all you do is create an enemy for life? At least this gal got a trial (may not have been fair) but it was a process and the world couldn't complain!

Sometimes the word "blasphemy" is used loosely to mean any profane language, in Italy they just included it in Soccer!! WTF??
