Thursday 12th of August

Wednesday night was a big night in the International game department, almost 3o friendlies were played. There were a couple of good games and a couple that showed it is still pre-season! I have posted a few that I thought were worth the watch!

England vs. Hungary highlights

Not sure if many of you remember the North Korean team from the World Cup? One moment I remember is the players crying during their national anthem, well now they may be crying for another reason!!

Mexico vs. Spain highlights

The funny thing about some coaches is that they have 2 sides of their face and tend to talk out of both, in this case I am waiting for Mr. Capello to retract what he said about "Golden Balls" or see if "Golden Balls" forces his way back onto the team?

Germany vs. Denmark highlights

Seattle's Freddy Montero sat down with goal.com recently and had some interesting things to say!! All I know is I hope he keeps his head down and continues to work his ass off!!

Sweden vs. Scotland highlights

We have all heard the stories of the unconventional ways players make it to the big leagues and super stardom, well here is a little known American who is already a superstar in a country not known for soccer!

Cameron vs. Poland highlights

We all wonder if we had a fully recovered Charlie Davies in South Africa would America have advanced even farther? It was always a big leap from a life altering accident to the World Cup, now it looks as if it might even affect his career in whole!

NY Redbulls vs. Toronto FC highlights

It's not often that you go from being an African Footballer of the year, to World Footballer of the year to running for President in your country! For one man it has been a seamless transition and now his education is the only thing holding him back!!

Philadelphia vs. Real Salt Lake highlights

Let the whispering voices start, reports have Bob Bradley departing as the his contract expires Dec 31st of this year. Of course this time 4 years ago there was one man on every ones radar Jurgen Klinsmann, he would bring a wealth of playing, coaching, and educational experience that might help the USA make the leap into the top 10 in the world!!

We have all seen it and lord knows I have tried it more than once, a direct shot from kick off. It usually goes wide or the keeper has no problem with it, well this guy hits it true and the keeper must have had the sun in his eyes?
