Tuesday was a European Qualifier day with about 20 games being played all across Europe. It was also a designated International day by FIFA which means countries all around the world can call in players from their club teams for National team camps and games. The USA took advantage of this and played Columbia in a Friendly Tuesday night. The Seattle Sounders also played a Friendly agains Chivas de Gudalajara.
Seattle Sounders vs. Chivas de Gudalajara highlights (3-1)
Italy and Serbia played 6 minutes of their European Qualifier on Tuesday then the game was abandoned. This is a rare instance where the fans decided the game and unfortunately it was for the worse. I expect sanctions and fines for both federations.
USA vs. Columbia highlights International Friendly(0-0)
The New York Redbulls have a stacked team in the Designated Player department with 3 players. Next year expect one of those players to be showcasing his skills some where else!!

The Business Guys think the MLS is going about it's Business the wrong way "One need only look at MLS’s newest big investment, Thierry Henry with the New York Red Bulls, and the three ways he could potentially drive value for MLS — ticket sales, TV deals and sponsorship revenue — to see why MLS would do better rebranding itself as a league for top talent rather than a graveyard for the game’s legendary dinosaurs."
Ireland vs. Slovakia highlights Euro 2012 Qualifier (1-1)
Jay Demerit is a self made man, he worked himself up the soccer ladder and made it to the top by playing for Watford in the EPL and the USA in the World Cup. At 30 years old he finds himself out of contract and looking for a team, and he says "Its time to come home"
Portugal vs. Iceland highlights Euro 2012 Qualifier (3-1)
The MLS playoffs is all but settled, the final 2 games of the season is all about jockeying for positions in the playoff ladder. If we look at last years playoffs we see that a lower seeded team won the championship by having a late season surge in form, could that be Seattle this year?

The team that wins the "Supporters Shield" in the MLS is the team that finishes with the most points. Whoever wins it is given a birth into the CONCACAF Champions League next year and top seed in the MLS Playoffs. The LA Galaxy is one game away!
Greece vs. Israel highlights Euro 2012 Qualifier (2-1)
We all have our favorite players, players we idolized growing up or have watched as adults. I have two in particular, the first is Paul Gascoigne. Yes Gazza has been a train wreck after his football career finished but during it he was a Star. My other favorite player has 11 EPL championships, 2 Champions League winners medals, 4 FA Cup winners medals, and has appeared 846 times for his club team. Making his pro debut at 17 and still going 20 years later Ryan Giggs is the consummate professional!
Holland vs. Sweden highlights Euro 2012 Qualifier (4-1)

Those poor English fans have had nothing but heartache from their national team. I say that's what you get from rich spoiled players who put self in front of team and country!!!
