It's a big weekend for the MLS playoffs there are 2 games on Saturday and 1 game on Sunday. 1 game is already in the books with Colorado taking the lead in the series with Columbus.
Seattle has been the hottest team in the second half of the MLS season and there are alot of opinions as to why that is. One player who has had a hand in Seattle's turn around and a breakout season of his own is Steve Zakuani, and now England has taken notice. It's going to be a tough game for LA in Seattle on Halloween night, Seattle has the Firepower that wasn't there in the last two meetings, couple that with Ianni and Parke in central defense and things will be very different Sunday.
We have also seen the difference a true experienced post up forward makes for the Sounders, with Blasie Nkufo doing the work that we have missed, this has opened the flanks for Zakuani and Nyassi to flourish and the spaces for Montero to be creative!

Assists of the Week
Italy played Serbia for 12 minutes recently in a European Championship qualifier. Then the Hooligans took over the game and the Referee called it. UEFA awarded Italy a 3-0 Victory for the game and dolled out some fines for both countries!
It basketball it's called coast to coast, in American football it's a long return/run, but in soccer when a player takes the ball at his 18 yard box and dribbles through the other team and scores at the other 18 it's called beauty! George Weah did it for AC Milan!!
All the leagues are back in full swing this weekend and there are some great games on the docket. Here is a run down of the games watch, and here is a run down of all the games on TV this weekend.

Most players at 40 are retired and just talking about the game, a Goalkeeper at 40 is sometimes in his prime. Edwin Van der Sar, Brad Friedel, and Kasey Keller all hit 40 this year and have produced. My question is who is the oldest field player currently playing and starting in the world of soccer?
George Best and Pele, Who you got?
