The Sounders pulled out a big win on Saturday and took a valuable 3 points towards the playoffs! Seattle also was fortunate that other results went their way and they now 5th in the playoff standings and 4th in the Western Conference standings, this year it looks like only Columbus and New York will make the playoffs out of the east and the other 6 spots will come from the west.
Now it's on to the next big step which is tomorrows US Open Cup Final against the Columbus Crew. It is going to be a great night at the Xbox Pitch and the game will be electric! The team has sold over 30,000 tickets and increased the capacity for the game.
